Dear Parents,
In third grade our spelling program is tied into our Journeys reading curriculum. Spelling words are reinforced when students are reading and spelling them more than once. Please post this sheet in a visible area and review the words and spelling patterns at home. Students take a pretest on Mondays. Together as a class, students will self-correct their answers. Students should use this information to guide their practice at home. Students will have spelling homework each Monday or the beginning of the school week. The final spelling test will be on Fridays or the last day of the school week. You can practice online at: www.spellingcity.com Thank you for your support and help at home.
