Meet Your Teacher

   It is my pleasure to again welcome you to third grade and to Nikkari Elementary.  Let me begin by introducing myself to you.

   My name is Beth Philson.  I have been a Nikkari Nighthawk since 1995.  I have taught second and third grades at Nikkari Elementary.  I graduated from Western Michigan University in 1995.  I was very blessed to secure a teaching job quickly after graduation.  In 2004, I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Master’s degree focusing on reading.  My family lives in the southern section of Michigan.     I travel to Coldwater often to see my family.  I love sports and cheer loudly for the Western Michigan Broncos!
