CK Kindergartners and Homebound Seniors ![]() The kindergartners at Carrie Knause received a grant from the Youth Advisory Council of the Gratiot County Community Foundation to make Hot Cocoa Kits for homebound seniors. We spent an afternoon assembling approximately 200 kits (along with personalized greeting cards) and presented them to Craig Zeese from the Gratiot County Commission on Aging. We were able to make enough kits for every senior in Gratiot County that receives homebound meals. This was a great way for the students to show they care and to help those in need. We wanted to put a smile on the faces of those that received our gift and warm them up on a cold winter day! St Louis Technology Foundation's Big Event We cannot thank the community enough for the support we received for The Big Event 2012! We raised over $10,500 at the event and have more money and grants to add to our total profit! Two of the grants received will allow us to purchase two additional multimedia carts for each elementary school! Awesome! The St. Louis Sharks Technology Foundation exists solely for the purpose of raising money for the purchase of technology and other educational items for the St. Louis Public Schools. Our students need the benefit of additional technology to help them be successful in today’s global economy. Technology Foundation Website SLHS at Frankenmuth Snow Fest Art Club students from St Louis High School participated in the annual Zehnder's Snowfest in Frankenmuth Jan 26 & 27. This was a fun filled event where students competed against many other Michigan schools sculpting their project. Our students sculpted McDonald's French Fries.
